  • "Kip Largo was once the best in the business. A con man's con man. But then he spent five years in jail and lost everything except his sense of humor and a crummy little apartment in Palo Alto. Then one day he meets Lauren Napier, wife of billionaire venture capitalist Ed Napier. She wants Kip to steal her husband's money for her, and in return, she'll cut him in on a sizeable chunk of the proceeds. Kip's been around long enough to know that when a beautiful woman wants something from you, all you're gonna get in return is a whole lot of trouble. So he makes the smart choice and walks away. But soon Kip's son shows up with a different tale of woe: he's gotten into a really bad situation with the Russian Mafia and needs his old man's help. Suddenly, the idea of stealing Ed Napier's money doesn't sound so bad. The con is on, but for Kip, the question will soon be: who's conning whom?"
  • "Om zijn zoon uit de klauwen van de Russische maffia te bevrijden, bedenkt Kip Largo, een onverbeterlijke oplichter, een plan waarmee hij enkele grote criminelen tientallen miljoenen afhandig wil maken."
  • "Losing everything after spending five years in prison, con man Kip Largo finds his life taking an odd turn when Lauren Napier, wife of billionaire venture capitalist Ed Napier, asks him to help steal her husband's money, a job that Kip turns down, until his son shows up requesting his assistance in dealing with the Russian mafia."

  • "This darkly comic debut is about the worlds greatest con man (before he got busted), the con mans son (whos in debt to the Russian mob), and a billionaires beautiful wife (whos got an evil plan). Great fun . . . very, very hard to put down.--"New York Times.""@en
  • "Here's the setup. A blonde in shades walks into a bar. Spots this hustler who's trying to stay out of the game. Tells him she has a slap-happy billionaire husband and a big score in her pretty little head. All the hustler has to do is what he does best: lie, cheat, fake, and steal-and watch both the money and the girl fall into his lap. Trouble is, the hustler has pulled every con in the book, and he instinctively knows this: The blonde can't just be a beautiful blonde, the score can't just be a score, and the big bad husband has to have an angle of his own. Most of all, Kip Largo has serious suspicions about himself."@en
