The dark knight rises

Eight years after Batman vanished following the Joker's reign of terror and the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, Bruce Wayne is forced out of his self-imposed exile by the arrival of the violent madman Bane. The ensuing battle will decide the fate not only of Gotham City, but also of Bruce himself - and of Batman.
