Excerpts from the Robert Dawn interviews with Marian Anderson include her discussions about the influence of Roland Hayes on her life, her recollections of Paul Robeson, the Lincoln Memorial concert, the effects of her performance at the Metropolitan Opera, and some of her basic beliefs about life.
