  • "Correspondence and printed ephemera relating to French Poems of To-day, an anthology of French poetry dating from the mid-late 19th century through early 20th century, bound with printed version (London: Sidgwick & Jackson, Ltd., 1926). The correspondence consists of 45 ALS, two PcS, one TLS, and one printed card to anthology editors James Bertrand de Vinchelés Payen-Payne and Isabelle H. Clarke from contributing authors and from individuals, editors of literary journals, and institutions to whom Payen-Payne sent copies of the anthology. Contributors include: August Angellier, Paul Claudel, Jean Cocteau, Tristan Derème, François Fabié, Charles Le Goffic, Fernand Gregh, Charles Guérin, Edmond Haraucourt, Jacques Normand, François Porché, Henri de Régnier, Jules Romains, Francis Vielé-Griffin, Charles Vildrac, and others. Letters from contributors, in French, concern publication in the anthology and particular submissions, though some also make recommendations. In addition to the authors' letters, there are letters of gratitude, in English, from translators and literary critics and scholars, including Osman Edwards, Edmund Gosse, and Winifred Whale. The printed ephemera consists chiefly of clippings of reviews from newspapers in Great Britain dating from 1924 to 1925."
