A letter to three wives (1949)

Addie Ross is the most attractive woman in town. The wives of three of her former admirers are exuberant when they hear that she has left, until the letter arrives. Addie's letter informs the women that she has been joined by one of their husbands. Each wife fearing the errant spouse is hers looks back over the years trying to decide what went wrong.
