  • "The film, shot between 1997 and 2000, reflects the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as seen through the eyes of seven Palestinian and Israeli children from Jerusalem, aged 8-13."
  • "Follows the journey of a filmmaker who travels in and around Jerusalem, from a Palestinian refugee camp to an Israeli settlement in the West Bank, where he meets seven Palestinian and Israeli children who exist in completely separate worlds, divided by physical, historical and emotional boundaries. Explores the natural boundaries and tells the story of a few children who dared to cross the lines to meet their neighbors. Seen through the eyes of the children, who live only 20 minutes apart but are deeply separated by day-to-day obstacles."

  • "Several Jewish and Palestinian children are followed for three years and put in touch with each other, in this alternative look at the Jewish-Palestinian conflict. The three filmmakers followed a group of seven local children between 1995 and 1998. They all have a totally different background. These seven children tell their own story about growing up in Jerusalem. Through this portrait of their generation, we see how deep rooted and almost insoluble the problems of the Middle East have become. When the protagonists speak out in an epilogue a couple of years later, it becomes apparent that all have lost their childlike innocence."@en
  • "Updated cut of the critically-acclaimed documentary examining the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and peace prospects through the eyes of children from both sides of the situation. Each child offers dramatic, personal and sometimes amusing perspectives on issues that lie at the heart of the Middle East conflict."
