"In this colorful, fuzzy version of Stevenson's classic tale, a young boy, Jim Hawkins, and his two friends, Gonzo and Rizzo, are given a treasure map by a mysterious sailor and decide to organize an ocean voyage to claim the promised riches. Accompanying them is slightly dim Squire Trelawney (Fozzie Bear) and the forthright Captain Smollett (Kermit), who hasn't been to sea since his most trusted friend, Jim's father, was killed by pirates on a ship under his command. Also aboard is the mutinous Long John Silver, whose outwardly friendly manner enthralls the impressionable young Jim. Unbeknownst to all, Silver knows of the map and will stop at nothing to get it. When the motley crew arrives at "Treasure Island", Silver and his men steal the map and take Jim hostage. Kermit, Rizzo, and Gonzo attempt to rescue him, but are taken hostage by angry native warthogs, led by the evil Spa'am and a glamorous queen. To Kermit's surprise, the queen turns out to be Benjamina Gunn (Miss Piggy), his long-lost love. many daring (and funny) adventures ensue, but in the end, of course, all turns out well. jim finds the treasure, rescues gonzo and rizzo, and defeats silver and his men. captain smollett and benjamina gunn fall in love again, and everyone gets off the island before they become dinner for spa'am and his hogs."@en
