Seven chances

Buster plays a young man who must find a bride within 24 hours to inherit a fortune. He escapes pursuit by an army of would-be brides only to find himself caught in a landslide. Despite Keaton's reservations about the original material - a play by Roi Cooper which he dismissed as an 'unbelievable farce' - the film is full of invention with ample evidence of Buster's skills in building tempo in individual sequences.
