Oral history interview with Mike Nichols

Mike Nichols, a German-born American television, stage and film director, shares his memories about the New York Shakespeare Festival production of David Rabe's play Streamers (produced by Joseph Papp ; directed by M. Nichols) that premiered at the Long Wharf Theatre in New Haven, Connecticut in 1975, and transferred to Lincoln Center's Mitzi E. Newhouse Theatre on Broadway in 1976. He also talks about his realtionships with Papp, and his complicated personality.
