The New adventures of Heidi

Heidi is living with her grandfather in the Swiss Alps. But her grandfather is slowly losing his eyesight and fears that he will no longer be able to take care of her. While in town, he secretly calls Heidi's cousins in Lucerne and asks them to take custody of Heidi. She develops a friendship with another schoolmate whose family takes her in when her grandfather becomes lost in the forest.
