Comédie dramatique adaptée de la pièce d'Edmond Rostand, racontant les amours malheureuses de Cyrano qui se croit trop laid (nez proéminent) pour qu'on l'aime mais qui sait trouver les mots pour se faire aimer de n'importe qui. Soldat et poète dans la France du XVIIe siècle, le gascon Cyrano de Bergerac aime secrètement sa cousine Roxane. Celle-ci toutefois aime un jeune noble, Christian, dépourvu de tout talent. À la demande de sa cousine, Cyrano se fait le protecteur de son rival et en vient à rédiger, au nom de Christian, des lettres d'amour à Roxane. Blessé dans un attentat, Cyrano meurt et Roxane découvre trop tard l'auteur des lettres qui l'ont inspirée. Avec Gérard Depardieu, Anne Brochet, Jacques Weber, Vincent Perez.
