"Great men were gods, if beggars couldn't kill 'em!" exclaims Vindici, the (anti)hero of Revengers Tragedy. This modern dress Jacobean tragedy is set in a post-apocalyptic Britain, where southern England lies underwater, and center of power is Liverpool--ruled by media magnate The Duke. Ten years after his wife was murdered on their wedding day, exiled Vindici returns, to exact his revenge against the Duke--her killer--and his son and heir, Lussurioso, who lusts after Vindici's innocent sister, Castiza. Vindici re-unites with his estranged family, ingratiates himself with Lussurioso, and brings down The Duke and his entire corrupt political dynasty.

"An update of the Jacobean play, involving sex, murder, revenge and table football, as a common man seeks vengeance for his murdered wife by entering the court of a noble Duke. Great fun, in the style of Baz Luhrmann's "Romeo & Juliet"."
