It contains the personal journals of Martha Jervis (1799-1881); the journals of Adam Black, publisher and Liberal Member of Parliament for Edinburgh (1859-1866); the diaries and journals of several named and anonymous British travelers abroad (1815-1907); and assorted correspondence, pay records, and warrants for the British army (1733-1895)."@en
