Asa Allcott (1760-1846), son of Daniel Allcox and Elizabeth Dutton, served in the Revolutionary War, and married Sabra Plumb in 1780 at Waterbury, Connecticut. They moved to Ballstone, Saratoga County, New York about 1793, and later to Benton, Yates County, New York. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin and elsewhere.
