Bridge on the River Kwai

In a prison camp deep in Siam, Colonel Nicholson and his men are orderd by the Japanese to build a bridge, and he refuses, even after torture and solitary confinement. Then, determined to show their captors how much superior the British are, he drives his men on until the new bridge is ready for the first train to pass across it. As the Special Service Branch watches secretly, the suspsence builds to a thrilling climax.
