Bartholomew Christian Crane is a dedicated criminal defence lawyer, but he's never had a murder trial. When a small town teacher is accused of murdering two of his female students, Bartholomew heads to the northern town to defend him. Barth begins to feel an eerie connection to the victims, whose bodies have yet to be found, and the distinction between dream and reality begins to fade.
