Devil's corner

When newly fledged Assistant U.S. Attorney Vicki Allegretti set up her meeting with a confidential informant, she was just expecting to collect some information about ilegally resold guns. But she immediately found herself in the middle of a burglary which ended in deadly gunfire, taking the lives of the informant and of the agent working with Vicki on the case. As the sole survivor, Vicki is the only one who can identify the volatile teenage gunmen who fled the scene empty handed. Soon she's teamed with the informant's daughter, pulling out all the stops on the investigation and following dangerous leads, pursuing not only the shooters but, just as importantly, whoever was pulling their strings.
