"Lately, there have been more fatal accidents than usual in Mid-Yorkshire, U.K. One man drowned and another crashed his motorcycle into a tree. No one particularly takes notice of these events, however, until an alert librarian, who is in charge of a local short story competition, discovers stories detailing the deaths of these men--written and submitted before the accidents occurred.
