CRIME & MYSTERY FICTION. There is great interest in the quiet little village of St Mary Mead when the residents learn that Marina Gregg, the famous actress, has bought Gossington Hall. And when she throws the Hall open for a fete no-one is more excited than homely Heather Badcock who met the actress years before. But Heather's visit to Gossington Hall ends in her sudden death.
