A series of vignettes illustrates various decisions that are inherent in specific jobs.
- "Summary: The second in a series of four films designed to introduce young people to the workplace and help them become more productive employees. It examines the question of decision-making on a day-to-day basis by looking at the kind of decisions that need to be made, who makes them and who is affected by them. Sometimes decisions are handed down from management level and the individual is only given a limited choice in the matter. Nevertheless, many decisions that affect the welfare of the company have to be taken by ordinary members of the work force and the newcomer has to learn when to accept this responsibility and when to seek advice or assistance from an experienced supervisor."
