Family correspondence addressed to Warren or Jennie Walters Delano, 1864-1915, includes from his parents Warren and Catherine Robbins Lyman Delano, his uncles, his sister Sara Delano Roosevelt, and his own children; some of his father's letters concern the Union Mining Company in Mt. Savage, Md. General correspondence, 1891-1919, includes letters from Dutchess County residents concerning stock and equipment for the family home "Steen Valetje" near Barrytown, N.Y.; letters of condolence on the death of his father; and some clippings and material memorializing Warren Delano II, Catherine Lyman Delano, and John Murray Forbes. Financial papers consist of receipts and monthly accounts kept by William Anderson and James Galvin, superintendents of "Steen Valetje," 1894-1918; and cancelled checks, 1915-1917. Also, diaries kept by Warren III and H.A. deWindt during a trip to Wyoming and Yellowstone Park in 1899; scrapbook kept by Warren III in Hong Kong, 1861, which includes a list "Imports of Rice into Canton Waters in 1862" entered by his father; and a scrapbook of clippings, 1880-1909.
