Three men are best of friends: Youssef, a Muslim, Jojo, who is Jewish, and Giuseppi, an Italian Catholic, until the day their daughters swear to each other to lose their virginity by a certain date. Each daughter sets her sights on a boy of a different religion, thus challenging an inviolable taboo and causing rifts between their fathers. To further complicate matters, as the families attempt to resolve their own personal differences, the Six Day War breaks out in the Middle East, casting far greater doubt and dilemma into the lives of all concerned."
