The Raptor Zone

Living in the tiny community of Sundown, Oregon are several authors, notably Lois Keller, more regrettably, her husband Andy. Andy introduces his 'assistant' Gayleen. The introduction demonstrates superbly Keller's ability to put the cat among the pigeons. When Miss Pink arrives in Sundown she finds a volatile situation, barely contained by good manners. Some people have decided to take matters into their own hands. Raptors have begun to operate in the canyons between Cape Deception and Fin Whale Head, and not all of them are feathered.
