The Sholtie flyer
The horrors of the Great War are over, but not forgotten. The roaring twenties are in full swing but for some it is a beat slightly out of time. For beautiful, free-spirited Ginny McGrath it is an era of opportunity tinged with frustration. Having left the USA for Scotland to run her aunt Lizzie's new-fangled health farm, she finds the hard won post-war freedom difficult to capitalise on. Iain, the man she loves, is constrained by high ideals of honour and place. Jonty, Lizzie's son, on the other hand, finds the freedom of Paris almost too much to handle.
