The small inland town of Motherest has existed peacefully behind the Web for many years, ruled wisely by the seven members of the Witan. There had never been a problem they could not solve, until a strange and terrible sickness invades the town, and the people begin to die. But it is to the spirit world they must look for help, for the sickness comes from a creature whom most believed to be but a legend, the Chaos Wolf, who wishes to destroy the world and everything in it.
