Collected Poems of Sir Thomas Wyatt. Edited with an introduction by Kenneth Muir
This new edition of the poems of Sir Thomas Wyatt presents an accurate and intelligible text, with the annotation which today's general reader needs. The text is entirely re-edited and modernized, and, for the first time in a modern edition, the punctuation consistenly and successfully brings out the sense of the poems. The editor also offers several new readings. The present text will therefore considerably enhance the reputation of Wyatt, who already is widely regarded as the most important poet of his age. --Oxford University Press Donated by Barbara Einzig.
