Res. 83, to express the sense of the Senate that intervention by the Office of Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers resulting in the purge of Japan Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Rikizo Hirano in 1947 was improper and without basis or justification. Also briefly considers procedures for designating temporary consultants to accompany committee members abroad.
