The ninth day

Hope Friis has struggled with a pronounced stutter her entire life. In her hometown of Berkeley, California, as the Free Speech Movement of the 1960s gains momentum, Hope embarks on a journey back in time. Using her grandmother's magical prayer shawl, Hope is guided by her time-traveling ancestor, Serakh, to Paris, circa 1099 A.D. In order for her to solve a mystery and save a baby from an awful state, Hope must overcome her fears and discover the one thing she can't find, her voice.
