"The logbook of the bark Altorf details a voyage from Boston to Cuba, England, France, and New York (Dec. 1845 to Sept. 1846). Home port was Boston; owners were Lemuel E. Pope, Edwin Howland, Galen James, Isaac Sprague, and Nicholas T. Snell; master was Nicholas T. Snell. It is a daily log describing wind, weather, location, sightings of ships, and shipboard occupations. It includes the dimensions of the Altorf and a cargo manifest. Bound with the ship Victoria."
