The House of Guelph orignated with Guelph who wasd Prince of the Scyrri in about 476 AD. His descendants became the Dukes of Burgandy, Bavaria and Tuscany. Various members of the house also married into various German princely houses, including those of Hanover and Brunswick. Descendants include the British royal family.
