The underground railroad conductor : guide for Eastern New York

The Underground Railroad Conductor was the first book to map out the routes of the Underground Railroad and the first book to publish the story of the Underground Railroad in eastern New York. Though published in 2003, it still contains much information that cannot be found in published form elsewhere. It is an especially useful tool for the student, and a chapter with tips on researching the Underground Railroad is included. In addition, there are road maps and directions to legendary sites in northeastern New York, which can be used, for instance, by teachers to plan field trips.
