California criminal law

This work is prepared in consequence of many requests from members of the legal profession and peace officers is not a revision of the author's work of similar title published in 1927, but is an entire rewriting of the subject matter. The crimes selected for particular presentation are those felonies which are most frequently before our courts and which involve the basic principles of the law of crimes. In this third edition, effort has been made to include the decisions of the courts, and the statutes as amended since the first two editions.
