Tape 1, side A includes interviews with Sir Norman Brearley, the founder of Australia's first air mail service; side B is about Horrie Miller, founder of MacRobertson Miller Airline Service. Sides A and B include interviews with Mary Durack. Tape 2 features interviews with many pioneer aircraft crew talking about conditions aboard commercial aircraft for both passengers and crew, including uniforms, working conditions and social conditions, and technical changes in aircraft.
