Emilio Calderon was born in Malaga, Spain, in 1960. He studied modern history at the Complutense University in Madrid, and has worked as a historian, editor and writer. Calderon has lived in Madrid and Manila, but it was while living in Rome on a scholarship at the Royal Spanish Academy in 2003 that he was inspired to write the Creators Map, his first novel for adults."--Provided by publisher.
