  • "Can a real estate appraiser in a New Jersey beach town get in this much trouble? If your name translates to "pretty nice" in French, you're probably used to teasing. It doesn't prepare you to find out that your soon-to-be-ex-husband raided your assets and embezzeled from his bank. Jolie Gentil moves to Aunt Matdge's bed and breakfast, taking her cat Jazz and joining Madge's paire of prune-eating dogs. Soon, Jolie is rekindling friendships, dodging a low-level wise guy, and (oops!) finding a dead body. Can she prove a friend's innocence in time, or will Jolie be the next victim?"@en
