Growing up social exploring how social communication develops-- and strategies to help

Active social skill development begins with birth and expands across our lifetime. This program looks at how social thinking supports the development of social skills from the first year of life, influencing language development and academic success, as well as skills for adult living. Social thinking concepts and strategies will be introduced to support this teaching across the home and school day, including an exploration of how we organize our communicative interactions and utilize active perspective-taking throughout each day.
