"Formal group portrait of elderly couple believed by descendant to be David Smith Terry (with full beard), his first wife Cornelia Runnels Terry, and eight young family members. Young men pictured could be sons Samuel and Clinton, and boys could be nephews that resided with the family, although they are younger than those enumerated in the 1880 census. Identity of young women, girl, and infant unknown, as no Terry grandchildren are known at this date and there were no daughters. The Terry identification is unconfirmed."
