"In 2003, Hawaii filmmakers Don and Julianne King realized something was wrong with their three-year-old son, Beau. Beau was losing his ability to speak, play with other kids, and was becoming disconnected from the outside world. Determined to help Beau, his parents brought him to the best doctors in the U.S. and took along a video camera to document the results. Two months later, Beau was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This is the story of an illness reaching epidemic proportion, now affecting one in 150 children.
