"A segment from a TV series offering a behind-the-scenes look into the creative process of independent filmmaking. In this episode two Chinese-American artists are spotlighted. The first part of the program presents an interview with actress and director, Joan Chen, who is one of a very few to attain a viable career in both Hollywood and Hong Kong. Part two features Chen-collaborator and director Ruby Yang. In addition to editing Chen's Autumn in New York and Xiu Xiu, Yang directed Citizen Hong Kong, a documentary about five Hong Kong residents and their views on Hong Kong's transition from British to Chinese rule."
