Occupational analysis of the civilian WG-6900 warehousing family
This is one of a series of reports concerning Air Force civilian employees, and marks the initial application of job survey methodology to the Wage Grade (WG) area. Data from 4,036 subjects were analyzed by use of the Comprehensive Occupational Data Analysis Program (CODAP). Comparative evaluations of job content for eight job series by Base and Air Logistics Center (ALC) supply system were performed, and job types were identified based on a cluster analysis. The report presents results of these analyses, evaluates the procedures employed in the study, and makes recommendations for future applications of this technology to the civilian workforce.
