Story one features an interview with young Australian Christian missionary Karenna Laklen, who has just returned from cyclone-ravaged Burma. Footage is shown of the wreckage, the people affected and the beginnings of the relief affort stymied by an untrusting military government. Laklen works for Asian Tribal Ministries, one of the few aid organisations so far allowed to provide relief for the devestated country and its people. Story two is an interview with Cherie Blair, wife of the former British Prime Minister Tony. Cherie has just released her autobiography. Story three discusses the trouble brewing in the Paris ghettos, the setting for more than one recent outbreak of frustration-fuelled violence and riots. It profiles activists trying to agitate for better conditions and equal rights for the inhabitants of the ghettos, many of whom are of immigrant stock.
