Towards an African common market for agricultural products

This study examines the key legal and economic issues involved in establishing an African Union Common Market in Agricultural Products. In particular, it examines how national and regional policies and instruments can be used to foster trade in strategic products and recommends strategies as to how the goal of a continental common market might be attained. The analysis reveals that there exists a broad consensus that increased inter-regional trade liberalization will be beneficial to the continent--Publisher's description.
