These mss. by women in 17th century Scotland comprise prayer books, diaries, commonplace books, journals and account books, a music book and calligraphy book, and transcriptions of poetry, sermons and other religious texts. They are reproduced here in association with the Perdita Project based at the University of Warwick and Nottingham Trent University. "Perdita" means "lost woman" and the aim of the Project has been to identify and describe all manner of manuscript writing by early modern women from diaries to works of drama.
