Periodical for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Terry (and variant spellings) families who came mainly from England, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, and Sicily. Some immigrated to Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, and Virginia in the 1600s. In the 1700s, some settled in Connecticut, Kentucky, New Hampshire, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Pennsylvania. During the 1800s, some moved to Ontario (Canada), Mexico, the Indian Territory, the Dakota Territory, and to Alabama, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Maine, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Ohio, Tennessee, and Texas. Later descendants also lived in Canada, England, and in Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Michigan, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Utah, Vermont, Washington, Washington D.C., West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming, and elsewhere. Information was extracted or transcribed from family Bibles, biographical sketches, cemetery inscriptions, census returns, death records, deeds, marriage records, memorials, military records, shared pedigrees, tax lists, wills, and other record sources from the 1700s to the present.
