John Hiatt our immigrant ancestor : and his descendants
John Hiatt was born in 1696 in Glastonbury, Somerset, England. His parents were John William Hiatt and Mary Smith. His family emigrated in about 1699 and settled in Pennsylvania. He married Rachel Wilson (1701-1746) in 1720 in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. They had eight children. He died in 1764 in Westchester, Virginia. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia, North Carolina and Utah. Includes Oliphant and related families.
