Bolivia, the road of the Yungas

Wedged between the Andes cordillera and the Amazonian plains in an area known as the Yungas, a perilous mountain track climbs to an altitude of over 4 000 m. It is known as one of the most dangerous roads in the world; the slightest error can be fatal on a road that has seen many tragedies: last year alone 200 lost their lives on the Yungas run. Thirty-year-old David is one of a handful of fearless "truckers of the skies" who regularly use this track, barely wider than his own vehicle to deliver cattle to La Paz, the highest capital in the world. An unforgettable trip on the high roads among the clouds, offering breathtaking views of the Andes Cordillera.
