Myron "Mike" Kremer from Linton and Mandan, North Dakota : memories from family and friends
Myron Mike Kremer had quite an impact on the world during his 87 years on earth, from September 21, 1924, until October 4, 2011. Mike grew up in Linton, North Dakota, with two sisters, and joined the army and fought in World War II before graduating from Linton High School. After the war, he got married in Mandan, and along with his wife, Patricia, helped raise five boys and three girls, all who became involved in education. During his work life, Mike was known as Big Mike due to his 6 foot three inch height. He was also regarded as one of the friendliest people in town. Big Mike seemed to know everyone, and he brought a smile to just about everyone's face with his friendly greeting and big smile. In putting this book of memories together, Mike's son Kevin asked closest family and friends to write down their favorite memories. Additionally, they were asked to submit some of their favorite photos with Mike. This book is the result of those efforts.
