Attitudes toward American foreign policy, West Germany

This study was conducted in 1962 and focused on the attitudes of the American public toward West Germany and the bases for these beliefs. Respondents were asked to appraise the reliability of West Germany as an ally in disputes between the United States and Russia. Also probed were the respondents' feelings about keeping Germany as a divided nation.
