Ryan O'Rourke survived the most notorious prison in the West, the snake pit known as the Arizona Territorial Penitentiary in Yuma. And when he's released, freedom means settling scores with the men who put him there. Before O'Rourke can accomplish his mission, however, his white-hot temper and flashing gun bring down the wrath of the law once more, and this time he is sentenced to die. But the only way O'Rourke plans to go down is while enforcing his own brand of justice. When his people break him out of jail, he grabs his chance to cheat the hangman, but instead of heading north to start a new life, he rides south towards Mexico.
