He wrote more than twenty books of poetry and prose including Turtle Island for which he won the 1975 Pulitzer Prize for Poetry. Snyder's manuscripts and published works, correspondence, recordings, subject files, manuscripts and publications by other authors, serials, ephemera, and memorabilia are found in the collection.
